I. The Priority of Prayer

- Pray first of all.
- Pray without ceasing.
- Supplications means to make a request.
- Prayers are the communication and communion with God.
- Intercession is prayer on behalf of others.
- Thanksgiving looks back with appreciation for what God has done and also looks forward in anticipation of what God will do.
II. Prayer Advances the Gospel

- There is only God.
- There is only one mediator between God and men.
